\r\n NextGen Changemakers: How SKILL Helps Young Leaders Turn Ideas Into Impact \ud83d\ude80 <\/h3>\r\n
At SKILL, we believe that meaningful change begins with young people who have the courage to act and the tools to grow \ud83c\udf31\u2728. That\u2019s why we proudly contributed to NextGen Changemakers, a project co-funded by the Visegrad Fund, bringing together youth from Czechia, Poland, and Ukraine \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddff\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1\ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\udde6 to develop their leadership skills and community initiatives.\n\nThe first mobility in P\u0159erov (18\u201321 July 2025) focused on shaping ideas into real project concepts. Through interactive workshops, creative brainstorming, project-writing sessions, and discussions on youth activism, participants learned how to define goals \ud83c\udfaf, analyse communities, and design sustainable initiatives \ud83c\udf0d. The atmosphere was dynamic, collaborative, and full of inspiration \ud83d\udca1\ud83e\udd1d.\n\nThe second part in Lviv (12\u201315 September 2025) helped young changemakers understand how to turn ideas into funded, implementable projects. They explored grant opportunities, practiced budgeting \ud83e\uddee, met with experienced project leaders, and visited Lviv Town Hall \ud83c\udfdb\ufe0f to discuss youth policy with local representatives. Networking sessions opened doors to new partnerships and real-world insights \ud83e\udd1d\ud83c\udf10.\n\nA key moment of the project was the presentation of participants\u2019 proposals, followed by constructive feedback from trainers, peers, and potential funders \ud83d\udcac\ud83e\udd32. SKILL continues to support the teams in refining and submitting their ideas to real grant programmes.\n\nThanks to the support of the Visegrad Fund, NextGen Changemakers empowered a new generation of motivated young leaders ready to build more inclusive, democratic, and vibrant communities across Europe \ud83c\udf1f\ud83c\udf0d.<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\r\n AI & Networking in Sofia \u2013 A Successful Project! <\/h3>\r\n
Our AI training project in Sofia has come to an end, and what an amazing experience it was! \ud83c\udf89\n\nSeven enthusiastic participants embarked on a week-long journey to explore the world of artificial intelligence \ud83d\udcbb, gaining valuable knowledge while making new friends from across Europe \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddfa. The trip was not just about learning \u2013 it was also a fantastic opportunity to discover the beauty of Bulgaria\u2019s capital, Sofia \ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddec.\n\nWith participants from Poland, the Czech Republic \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddff, and Bulgaria \ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddec, this project fostered international collaboration, enriching everyone\u2019s experience. Thanks to full coverage of accommodation \ud83d\udecc and meals \ud83c\udf54, as well as a refund of up to 309\u20ac for travel costs \u2708\ufe0f, accessibility was never an issue!\n\nAlthough this journey has come to an end, more projects are coming soon! Here a small recap of what we have done during the last week! \r\n Young Engagement Symposium with Elected Officials Cracow 7-10 March 2024 <\/h3>\r\n
From March 7-10, 2024, Krak\u00f3w hosted the second meeting of the international SKILL project, co-financed by the International Visegrad Fund. The project aimed to strengthen youth engagement in social and political life, providing participants with the opportunity to discuss democracy, political involvement, and grassroots activism.\n\nDuring the event, young people from different countries took part in workshops, discussions, and meetings with politicians, including Polish MP and Krak\u00f3w mayoral candidate Aleksander Miszalski. A key part of the program focused on participatory budgeting, showcasing real-life projects implemented in Krak\u00f3w and exploring ways to apply similar initiatives in other cities.\n\nThe project successfully fostered networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, proving the importance of youth involvement in decision-making processes.
