Stowarzyszenie Krakowskich Inicjatyw Lokalnych Liderów represents a sophisticated framework for fostering international and societal relations through cultural exchange, artistic expression, and dialogue among diverse communities. The principal aim of Stowarzyszenie Krakowskich Inicjatyw Lokalnych Liderów is to cultivate mutual understanding and respect among nations by facilitating the exchange of ideas, traditions, arts, languages, and other cultural expressions. Initiatives such as festivals, exhibitions, concerts, and student exchange programs serve as pivotal mechanisms through which nations can showcase their creativity, heritage, and values, in doing so fostering stronger connections and building bridges between diverse communities.
Jędrzej Chodziński – A Leader with a Mission!
Jędrzej Chodziński is the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Krakow’s Local Initiative Leaders (SKILL).
He has been involved in the nonprofit sector for over 12 years. He served on the boards of ESN and the Young Diplomats Forum, as well as being an active member of AIESEC and EDYN. After the first edition of Campus Polska 2021, he decided, together with Michał Sandecki, to create something of his own – and that’s how SKILL was born. Today, the organization is thriving, having successfully carried out or partnered in over 40 projects since its inception!
Jędrzej is actively engaged in initiatives that empower young people and strengthen their impact on the world around them. Under his leadership, SKILL supports the development of local leaders and fosters civic engagement, because he firmly believes that young people have the power – and it’s worth unlocking!
OleksandraTokar – Project Manager
Ola is dedicated to researching refugee integration and supporting displaced communities. Her work includes conducting studies on refugee experiences, analyzing integration challenges, and facilitating multilingual communication. She has led interviews, translated research materials, and provided insights to improve support systems. Actively engaged in initiatives promoting social cohesion, she also writes project proposals for SKILL, focusing on integration and community-building efforts.
Daniel Bieganowski – Project Manager & Trainer
Daniel is an experienced Project Manager, trainer, and mediator, specializing in managing social and youth projects. A graduate of Jagiellonian University and the University of Wrocław, he has been a member of the SKILL Audit Committee since 2024.
For years, he has successfully implemented international initiatives such as EDYN, YDLA, and Erasmus+, working closely with public institutions, NGOs, and government administration. As a member of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) team, he organized projects focused on promoting religious freedom and strengthening democracy, combining strategic thinking with hands-on project management.
His passion lies in international relations and national security, and he actively engages in projects within these fields. As a trainer and mediator, he supports organizations and teams in building effective collaboration, conflict management, and developing interpersonal skills. He is also the author and coordinator of numerous projects, where he integrates expert knowledge with practical experience, creating effective cross-sector cooperation strategies.
Maria Aleksa – Project Manager
Maria is a very active member of our team, engaging in various social projects. As a volunteer, she coordinates and creates projects that support the local community, primarily young people. Her interests include what she studied—ecology—as well as sports such as swimming and volleyball, and traveling, which allows her to explore new cultures. She aspires to further develop in the field of volunteering and European Union initiatives.
